Nineteenth-Century Churches

Nineteenth-Century Churches

The nineteenth-century saw a major expansion in the number of churches in Fife. Many more different Christian groups had a presence in Fife communities than in previous centuries. This period was also marked by the revival of Gothic architecture – largely pushing out the simplified Classical designs which were in fashion at the beginning of the 1800s.
