Sacred Landscapes

Explore how religion has shaped Fife’s landscapes and buildings across the generations.

The Sacred Landscapes project

The Scottish region of Fife has a rich religious history with records of Christian activity stretching back over a thousand years. This project explores the changing experience of faith, and its legacy for the landscape and culture of Fife’s coastal communities.

It was created as part of the Sacred Landscapes project at the University of St Andrews.
